We use AWS us-east-2 as our primary site with data stored across 3 availability zones, and AWS us-east-1 as our cold backup location (via cross-site replication of our S3 backup buckets).
All storage in AWS is encrypted at rest and in transit.
Lastly, we have an offsite backup of our database stored with Digital Ocean. This archive is encrypted (using age) before being transferred over TLS. We don't use backup tapes or operate any physical locations ourselves.
