Why do some assets have only secondary IP addresses?

runZero reports primary IP addresses for assets when the address can be directly discovered by a runZero scan, or when an asset is sourced and correlated from a third-party that reports valid IP addresses. Unfortunately, some third-party sources do not provide an address that runZero can rely upon as a primary IP address. In this situation, the IP address is reported as part of the secondary address field.
