When you define a site network in runZero, you can specify the default scan scope for the site in the Default scan scope field. When you create a scan task for that site, runZero will check if the values in the Discovery scope field match the default scan scope for the site. If not, you will get the message "Warning: This scan is not using the current site scope".
This warning is to help you avoid scanning the wrong IP ranges and potentially ending up with duplicate records, particularly if you have chosen to use separate sites to represent what is actually a single network.
If you want to use the scope defined in the site, you can enter defaults as the scan scope, and it will take the values from the site record.
runZero will only check if the scan scopes are equal or not; you will still receive the warning if one is a subset of the other.
