Why is the runZero Explorer flagged as malware?

Modified on Fri, Oct 21, 2022 at 9:32 AM

The runZero Explorer is built using the Go programming language. Some malware is written in Go, but most commercial software is not. This sometimes leads malware detection vendors to flag all Go software as malware.

If you encounter this problem, please contact support, and let us know the product and version that reported runZero as malware, so that we can notify the vendor and try to get the mistake corrected.

If you are concerned that your runZero Explorer or runZero Scanner might have been tampered with, you can verify it using the runZero Verifier.
