How can I restrict runZero access to a third party system by IP address?

Modified on Tue, May 14 at 1:12 PM

Some third party APIs, such as CrowdStrike, allow you to restrict the IP addresses allowed for incoming requests.

The IP addresses listed in the runZero documentation are for incoming access the web console https://console.runzero.com/

Outbound API requests to other systems will not come from those IP addresses, and we don't have the ability to provide a predefined set of IP addresses that connector requests will come from.

If you need to make sure connector requests all appear from a known IP address, you can run the connector task via an Explorer that you run at a known IP address.

To do this, when configuring the task select an Explorer in the task configuration section.
